Minecraft: Belief and Cognitive Distortions Bundle
A therapeutic resource using Minecraft®-inspired imagery, visual storytelling, and animated video to help children explore the thoughts, feelings, and internal messages that shape their behaviour and sense of self.
Children often believe their thoughts and feelings define who they are. When those internal messages are negative, untrue, or overwhelming — “I always mess up”, “I have to be perfect”, “no one really understands me” — they can become impossible to see clearly from the inside. This bundle uses visual storytelling, metaphor, and familiar Minecraft®-inspired imagery to externalise those experiences so they can be seen, named, and explored safely, without shame or pressure to change too quickly.
Grounded in Parts Work, Polyvagal Theory, and The BOUNCE Approach®, this resource supports emotional safety, co-regulation, and genuine self-awareness — building relationship, language, and choice in how children respond to what they feel inside. Designed for teaching assistants, ELSAs, therapists, pastoral teams, and families wanting practical, relational, trauma-informed tools for children carrying difficult internal narratives.
