A BOUNCE Approach Practitioner® understands that behaviour is not the problem – it is information.

Rather than asking, “How do I stop this behaviour?”, they learn to ask, “What is this child communicating?”

Through the six pillars of the BOUNCE Approach®, practitioners learn to see beyond the behaviour and understand the needs underneath it – body, connection, sensory differences, emotions, communication, and identity.

They know what to look for.

They know what to wonder about.

And they have the tools, resources, and support to respond with confidence.

Because when needs are understood and met, children are better able to regulate, connect, learn, and thrive.

STEP 1: GET TRAINED

Complete the BOUNCE Approach® Certified Practitioner Training. Learn all six pillars. Get certified.

You will learn to:

  • Release & Reduce emotional overwhelm and dysregulation
  • Re-set & Recalibrate the nervous system toward regulation
  • Rebuild confidence, identity, and genuine self-esteem

STEP 2: APPLY KNOWLEDGE

Practitioners then apply their knowledge to begin assessing, planning, and supporting children and young people. Their training and Snapshot assessments help identify which pillar to focus on first, with access to training, tools, and downloadable resources to guide the process.

Practitioners then run another Snapshot to understand how the child is doing now. The results provide a current picture of strengths, needs, and areas of concern, helping practitioners decide what to focus on next and adapt support accordingly.
