The Practitioner Programme

Know the framework. Know what to do with it.

Become a Certified BOUNCE Practitioner®. Not a collection of strategies and not one more programme – a way of thinking that tells you which child needs what, and when.

You already notice the child. This is the training that turns noticing into the right intervention, delivered by you, with evidence it worked.

40 hours of certified CPD Six modules, one per pillar Snapshots and impact evidence A year of PSHE Every intervention The Professional Studio

Included with Annual Membership, alongside the Learning Journeys, Snapshots and the full course library.

What you will be able to do

Six things you can do at the end that you cannot do now

This is not a reading list. It is the training for the person who wants to be the one in the building who knows what to do next.

1

Read what is happening, in the moment

Not after the incident, not at the next review. While the child is in front of you.

Recognise which pillar the difficulty is sitting in

See patterns rather than isolated incidents

Ask what this child needs rather than what the behaviour was

2

Identify which intervention, not collect them

The library is large. The skill is knowing which part of it this child needs on Tuesday.

Know when to use an approach, and when not to

Understand why it works, so you can adapt it

Match the intervention to the child, not the label

3

Use Snapshots to decide where to start

Two minutes gives you a ranked profile. Your judgement decides what to do with it.

Establish a baseline that means something

Let the ranked domains direct the plan

Notice emerging need before it becomes crisis

4

Measure whether it actually worked

Re-run mid-term, not end-of-term, so a plan that is not working can still change.

Evidence entry to exit progress

Turn professional judgement into something reviewable

Bring data to a review, a plan or a panel

5

Run the Studio tools with confidence

Interactive tools you open on a screen and work through beside a child.

A PDF guide behind every tool

Know the questions to ask, and what to do when a child goes quiet

Comic strips, sand tray, safe space, circle of trust and more

6

Deliver a full year of PSHE

The BOUNCE Learning Journeys – a complete twelve-month alternative curriculum.

Thirty sessions, five per pillar, one pillar per half-term

Adapt for age, stage and individual need

Class, small group or one to one

Everything is already in your hands. This teaches you to use it.

Theory of Mind, LEGO®-based therapy, creative and expressive arts, sand tray, comic strips, nurture groups, sensory circuits. A practitioner is not someone with more resources. It is someone who knows which one, for which child, and why.

Your practitioner journey

Six stages, each one resting on the last

Confidence is built, not switched on. Each stage gives you the knowledge, the practical skill and the professional judgement to take the next one – understand, choose, deliver, review.

40 hours of certified CPDSix certified modulesCertificate on completion

1

Learn the framework

Build the foundation

A secure understanding of the six developmental pillars. These become the lens through which you read behaviour, relationships, learning and wellbeing.

One certified module per pillar

Body, Openness, Understanding, Navigating, Connection, Esteem

2

Learn to think with it

Not what to do, how to think

Move past theory and start applying it in the room. Instead of asking what the behaviour was, you begin asking what this child needs right now.

Look beneath behaviour with curiosity

Recognise patterns rather than incidents

Make decisions you can explain

3

Deliver universally

Strong foundations for every child

Run the BOUNCE Learning Journeys – a complete twelve-month alternative PSHE curriculum – and adapt it for age, stage and individual need.

Thirty sessions across six half-terms

Class, small group or one to one

4

Assess, notice and review

Understand what is changing

Use Snapshots across the year to establish baselines, recognise emerging need and evidence what shifted. Assessment becomes a way of understanding children, not measuring them.

Baselines that mean something

Mid-term review, while you can still act

Evidence for plans, reviews and panels

5

Choose the right support

Respond, rather than guess

The whole library opens – specialist courses, creative interventions and practical tools. The skill you build is not collecting them, it is choosing between them.

When to use an approach, and when not to

Why it works, so you can adapt it

Who it suits, and how to fit it to the child

6

Deliver targeted intervention

When universal is not enough

Structured intervention including the twelve-week BOUNCE Programme, built on the same framework you started with – so support stays consistent and relational.

Theory of Mind, LEGO®, creative and expressive arts

Sand tray, comic strips, nurture groups

And then it keeps going

Certification is the start of practice, not the end of learning. Specialist CPD, new intervention training, creative resources, implementation guidance and reflection continue as the ecosystem grows – so what you join with is not what you will have next year.

Grow your toolkit

Every intervention, taught through the same lens
