A whole setting
We are a large Special School for children with severe and complex needs. We have subscribed to the Child Therapy Service for a year now. We started with a single subscription but quickly realised how beneficial it would be for many of our teachers/classes and therefore now have the school subscription. The site is invaluable for training as well as resources. It is so refreshing to have a online resource which offers clear interventions and strategies to support our young people with their mental health and wellbeing. As a school we are passionate about creating an environment based on 'unconditional positive regard'. The interventions and resources on this site have supported staff to understand that behaviour is not just defiance, controlling and chosen. It has given them a wealth of ways to support our most complex learners to understand the complexities of emotional states and regulation. The resources are really easy to access and use. We are just starting to use these in the classrooms. Currently we have taken advantage of the huge amount of training which has informed practice. We are excited about using The Child Therapy service further to support our parents and carers and are thrilled to be able to offer this to them in the new academic year. Thank you Tracy for sharing you knowledge and expertise to the benefit of the pupils in our school
An individual practitioner
I am a counselling psychologist and have found the CTS website and resources invaluable. As a psychologist there can be a pressure to know everything and work with every presentation. With the world ever changing and finally neurodiversity being acknowledged, services like CTS are SO important in equipping us as professionals with a range of ideas and knowledge to support a range of children and families who feel lost or in the dark. AND it's helped me feel these things too! I don't have time as a clinician to develop creative ways of engaging children with certain topics and Tracy has done it for me! Tracy is SO approachable, thoughtful and accessible and ultimately understands from such a personal level the challenges that neurodiverse children face and their parents too...AND so the tools and trainings are SO on point! We are very blessed to have such empathic expertise on our door step in East Sussex! I would highly recommend any parent or professional sign up for the membership as its such great value! Tracy is a superhero for neurodivergent children and families ❤️

Tracy and the Child Therapy Service have been a lifeline to me. By providing a service that considers the whole family the sense of wellbeing from contact with the service is immediate and a blinding contrast to other public and private services. Tracy herself has an uncanny sense of empathy which is such a relief as you don't have to say much when you're already exhausted by repeating yourself to brick walls. She just gets it, and not only that, gives you all the tools and resources you were wishing for on a platter. From individual help, group support sessions and self-guided world-class and cutting edge resources she has considered everyone in being able to access help in their own way.

Informative training with models of what a session may look like using BOUNCE approach. Helpful scripts and resources. I particularly enjoyed watching Dora Kalff's phylosophy and method.
This was good to see how our brain is continually changing and how we need to be safe to respond accordingly. Children have to be taught how to respond by watching adult interactions. Behaviour has a big focus on how our brain reacts/responds.
I loved this training. It was really informative, giving a good amount of background information before giving a direct demonstration of how to run the approach and bringing it all together. Love the resources that you can access as well.
I really enjoyed this course, plenty of opportunity to stop and reflect. I will use what we have covered in this course with the group of children I support.
The Lego Therapy course has ben really useful, with lots of guidance to hep set groups up and what to look for in children who will be accessing the groups. Lot's of useful resources to get started with.
I found this course helpful and will support me in being able to promote trauma informed approaches and will support my practice on a daily basis.
I really enjoyed learning about Lego Based Therapy. the course was fantastic easy to understand an well explained. I look forward to putting into practice the methods that I have learnt.
I look forward to trying these sessions, but found the training a little disjointed at times. I would have loved more of a focus on step by step what the session would look like, could look like, and trouble shooting for difficulties. Also, audio was a struggle with quite a bad echo at times.

I have been given a fabulous opportunity to work with SEND children and I can see how well this will support them. This course provided me with all the tools I needed and support and will definitely recommend this to others. Thank you.
I am a foster carer for two boys who are also my grandchildren. Both boys are neurodivergent. Both have their moments, but using the lense I am hoping to gain their trust and get a better understanding of behaviours which they are demonstrating. this training was very helpful because it has made me think what I am doing, what story are they holding inside.

Superb training as always. I cannot wait to put this into practice with my students! Great content broken down into each of the bounce sections so you can truly see how each is a stand alone area as well as being incorporated with the others. I would highly recommend.
I really Enjoyed this training. I would suggest filming the video with Children rather than adults pretending, It lost me a little in the training
Thank you it was very informative and helped to develop my understanding on how to adapt sessions for young people with SEMH and autistic children. It might be useful to change the video examples as this can come across abit close to the line/contrived.

The resources are such great quality and literally every single thing you need to get started. Exited to get started I feel well supported and equipped to start implementing this into my setting.
Brilliant training as always from Tracy. Understanding the Optimal Zone is going to make lessons so much easier going forward. The statistics around the increase in SEMH has always had me 'curious' too so I am hoping that the implementation of this approach will support those students more.

What a fantastic course! Great insight, explanations and evidence to explain the benefits and impact of drawing therapy. The session demonstration was fantastic and has given me a great template to build on.
It was really helpful to find out more about the bounce approach, and to think about how this fits and aligns with my practise and work I am doing. I like how there is a way of noting down where the work is beginning from, and having a suggested path to go down, offered in response to the information provided. From what I can see the body and movement is part of this approach with is important to my work, and so I am keen to find out more and see what courses are available
