E-Art Journaling (Emotional-Art Journaling) is a process in which children and young people use a combination of writing, drawing, painting, and collaging to express their emotions and thoughts. This creative approach allows individuals to explore their feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space, using a variety of artistic tools.
The benefits of E-Art Journaling are numerous. It encourages self-expression, which is particularly important for children and young people who may find it difficult to articulate their emotions through words alone. By integrating visuals and text, they can convey complex feelings more easily. This process also enhances emotional awareness, helping them identify and understand their emotions better.
This training builds on the theoretical understanding of Drawing Feelings; therefore, it is highly recommended that participants watch and practice this approach before attending the live event as we will not be going through the theory behind this approach.
This training will be experiential and practical. Therefore, please bring water colour paints, acrylics, paper (water colour based journal preferable), black writing pen, coloured pens, magazines/images for collage an open, curious mind.
