- Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of all websites, platforms, products, and services provided by Child Therapy Service CIC and Child Therapy Practitioners Limited (together referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Both companies operate under a shared group structure and hold joint responsibility for the delivery and licensing of services. All platforms, resources, and training programmes are either owned by or licensed between the two companies.
By accessing our websites, purchasing any product or service, attending training, using the Directory, or holding a membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website with the date it was last reviewed. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

We provide a range of services including:
- digital resources such as toolkits, downloads, and workbooks
- on-demand and live training sessions and CPD
- professional memberships and coaching
- the Child Therapy Service Directory of child-focused practitioners
- remote and in-person client sessions
- Use of Our Websites and Services
All content on our websites is provided for general information purposes only and may change without notice. We make no guarantee as to the accuracy, suitability, or completeness of any material published on our platforms.
Use of any service or resource is at your own risk. We accept no liability for any reliance placed on our materials, content, or guidance beyond what is required by applicable law.
- Intellectual Property and Copyright
All content across our platforms — including text, visuals, videos, downloadable resources, training materials, and toolkits — is the intellectual property of Child Therapy Practitioners Limited and is licensed to Child Therapy Service CIC. All rights are reserved and all content is protected by UK copyright law.
Users are granted a licence to use purchased or accessed materials strictly in accordance with the terms of their membership or purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise, this is a single-user, non-commercial licence for personal, educational, or direct client-based use only.
Without prior written consent from the copyright holder, materials may not be:
- copied, reproduced, or duplicated
- altered, adapted, or rebranded
- resold, distributed, or transferred to any third party
- publicly shared, uploaded, or broadcast in any form
Any breach of these terms may result in immediate suspension of access and legal action under UK copyright law.
The BOUNCE Approach® is a registered UK trademark owned by Child Therapy Practitioners Limited, registered in Class 9 (digital materials) and Class 41 (education and training services). Membership or purchase of any service does not grant any right to use, reproduce, or build upon the mark. Separate written permission is required for any use of the trademark beyond accessing content for personal or professional practice. For enquiries, contact [email protected].
- The BOUNCE Approach® — Network Recognition and Badge Use
Child Therapy Service CIC recognises individuals and organisations that have completed verified BOUNCE Approach® training, membership, or practitioner programmes.
Publication of organisation names
Organisation names may be listed on BOUNCE Approach® Verified pages to evidence participation. The lawful basis for this is Legitimate Interests under the UK GDPR. By completing a verified BOUNCE Approach® programme or receiving a verified badge, you acknowledge that your organisation’s name may appear on the verified members list unless you opt out.
Publication requiring explicit consent
We will only publish the following with your prior written consent:
- logos
- individual practitioner names where the individual is not representing an organisation
- photos or branding assets
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will never publish personal contact details or identifiable personal data publicly without written consent.
- The Directory
The Child Therapy Service Directory is an information and signposting platform designed to help families, schools, and professionals find independent child-focused practitioners and services.
We review all listings before publication, moderate content, and reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that breaches our terms or raises a safeguarding or professional concern. We do not act as an agent, representative, endorser, or recommender of any listed provider.
By using the Directory, you agree to:
- conduct your own due diligence before engaging with any listed provider
- independently verify provider credentials, qualifications, and insurance
- communicate directly with providers to confirm details, fees, and suitability
- report any concerns to [email protected]
We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or the outcomes of any services provided by listed practitioners. Use of the Directory is at your own risk.

- Payments
Payments are processed securely via Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, or by BACS transfer. We do not store payment card or bank account details on our systems.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. All invoice and billing queries should be directed to [email protected].
- Refunds and Cancellations
The following summary applies across our services. For full details, please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Digital downloads — non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, unless required by UK consumer law
- Memberships — considered on a case-by-case basis; a £50 administration fee applies to any approved refund
- Live and on-demand training — non-refundable as access is granted immediately upon purchase
- Live event rescheduling — permitted once per booking, subject to a £25 administration fee
- Refund requests — must be submitted within six months of the invoice date
Refunds or extensions will not be issued where access is blocked by school, organisational, or personal IT filters, or as a result of non-payment of invoices.
We are not responsible for technical issues, device incompatibility, or internet connectivity problems that prevent access to live events. Please check your device, browser, and network settings before joining any session.
- Memberships and Subscriptions
Memberships provide access to specified content and services for a defined term. Access ends automatically on expiry unless renewed. Account data may be retained temporarily following expiry to allow reinstatement on renewal.
Memberships are subject to the terms of our Learning Portal Licence and Use Policy. Professional and team licences must be purchased separately where required.
- CPD Certificates
CPD certificates are issued to the registered participant only. Certificates must be downloaded during the active access period. A reissue fee of £10 applies for lost or misplaced certificates.
- Client Sessions
Sessions may take place remotely or in person.
- If we cancel a session, a full refund will be issued.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
- Missed in-person appointments must be notified at least 30 minutes in advance.

- Digital Access and Purchase History
Users may re-download purchased resources from their account within a limited timeframe. Resources and materials may be updated or withdrawn without notice. We do not provide guarantees of long-term hosting or continued access beyond the active membership or purchase period.
- Access Restrictions Caused by Filters and Firewalls
Some schools, local authorities, and organisations use web filtering systems that may block access to our websites, training platforms, or email communications including password resets. These restrictions are outside our control.
We are not responsible for access issues caused by third-party filtering systems. It is the responsibility of the purchasing organisation or user to ensure that our domains and email addresses are permitted through their network. Refunds or extensions will not be granted for issues caused by local firewalls or filters.

- Invoicing and Purchase Orders
All invoiced and purchase order transactions are subject to an administration fee ranging from £25 to £100, depending on the complexity of the order. This will be confirmed at the quote stage and itemised on your invoice.
We are unable to raise a formal invoice or process any order without either a valid purchase order or written email confirmation from the named person within your organisation who is authorised to approve expenditure. Payment is due within 30 calendar days of the invoice date. The purchasing organisation remains responsible for payment within the agreed terms regardless of internal processes or delays.
- Late Payment
In accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where payment is not received within seven calendar days of a final written reminder, we reserve the right to apply:
- statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily from the due date
- fixed compensation as follows:

For individual consumers, interest and compensation will only be applied as permitted under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from use of our websites, services, or materials. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
- Reporting Concerns and Feedback
To report a concern, raise a complaint, or provide feedback, please contact us at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within two business days.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
