BOUNCE @ Home
A compassionate, practical course for parents and carers who want to understand what is really happening beneath their child’s behaviour — and change the way they see it forever.
If you’ve ever felt exhausted, confused, blamed, or unsure what else to try — this course was created for you. And if your child struggles with meltdowns, shutdowns, anxiety, sensory differences, communication difficulties, or simply seems harder to understand than other children — it was created for them too.
Rather than focusing on rewards, consequences, or behaviour management, BOUNCE @ Home helps you understand behaviour through a completely different lens — the body, the nervous system, attachment, sensory processing, emotions, communication, and identity. Grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, Polyvagal-informed practice, and neurodivergent-affirming approaches, this course helps you make sense of the moments that feel the hardest.
This is not a course about becoming a perfect parent. It is not here to tell you what you have been doing wrong. It is here to help you understand what has been happening — in your child, and in you — in a way that many parents have never had explained before.
Learning Objectives
Learning Objectives
Across eight modules, you’ll explore every pillar of The BOUNCE Approach®.
B
Body and Nervous System
Understand why behaviour is often a nervous system response rather than a conscious choice — and what this means for how you respond in the moments that matter most.
O
Openness to Trust and Attachment
Discover why connection, trust, repair, and felt safety are the foundations of healthy development — and how to become the safe person your child’s nervous system is looking for.
U
Understanding Sensory Differences
Learn how sensory needs shape behaviour, emotions, learning, and everyday family life — and how to create an environment that works with your child’s nervous system rather than against it.
N
Navigating Emotions
Understand emotions through the body and learn how to support emotional regulation safely — so you can help your child move through big feelings without making them bigger.
C
Communication Differences
Recognise behaviour as communication and understand the many ways children express unmet needs — so you can hear what your child is saying even when they don’t have the words.
E
Esteem, Identity and Self
Protect your child’s sense of self and help them develop confidence, self-worth, and self-compassion — so they grow up knowing who they are and that who they are is enough.
