- Introduction
The Child Therapy Service Learning Portal (“the Portal”) is a protected digital platform jointly operated by Child Therapy Service CIC and Child Therapy Practitioners Limited. By purchasing a membership and accessing Portal resources, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Licence and Use Policy in full.
If you are unsure whether your membership covers your intended use, please contact us before proceeding at [email protected].
- Copyright and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content within the Portal — including videos, written materials, illustrations, PDF toolkits, training modules, downloadable resources, and printable materials — is the intellectual property of Tracy Chadwick, Child Therapy Practitioners Limited, and/or Child Therapy Service CIC and is protected by UK copyright law. All rights are reserved.
Where content is created or delivered by guest contributors, partner organisations, or independent collaborators, copyright remains with the original author. Child Therapy Service CIC makes such content available under licence and with the permission of the copyright holder.
All resources are provided solely for use within the scope of the membership purchased. Without the prior written consent of the copyright holder, resources may not be:
- copied, reproduced, or duplicated
- altered, adapted, or rebranded
- resold, distributed, or transferred
- publicly shared, uploaded, or broadcast in any form
Unauthorised use may result in immediate account suspension, licence revocation, recovery of fees, and legal action.
The BOUNCE Approach® is a registered UK trademark owned by Child Therapy Practitioners Limited, registered in Class 9 (digital materials) and Class 41 (education and training services). Where Portal content references or incorporates The BOUNCE Approach®, no licence to use, reproduce, or build upon the mark is granted by virtue of membership alone. Use of the name or mark beyond accessing content for personal or professional practice requires separate written permission. For enquiries, contact [email protected].
- Licence Types
3.1 Family Membership — Personal Use Licence
Who this is for: Parents and carers using resources at home with their own child or children.
Permitted use:
- use by one household only
- resources may be used by the purchasing parent or carer with their own child or children in a home setting
Not permitted:
- sharing access with friends, extended family, support groups, nurseries, schools, or any other individuals
- use in educational, clinical, therapeutic, or care settings of any kind
- use by professionals for work purposes, regardless of the context
Important: Family Membership is strictly for personal, non-commercial home use only. Teachers, therapists, support staff, and all other professionals must not use a Family Membership for any work-related purpose. Professional use requires a Professional Membership or Team Membership as appropriate.
Licence scope: Personal, non-commercial, single-household use only.
3.2 Professional Membership — Single-User Licence
Who this is for: Individual professionals working directly with children or young people in a therapeutic, educational, or support capacity.
Permitted use:
- use by one named professional only
- resources may be used directly with individual children or small groups of children or young people the professional personally supports, such as in a therapy session, intervention group, or college support setting
Not permitted:
- use across departments, teams, or by more than one user
- sharing login details or downloaded resources with colleagues
- using Portal materials to train, induct, or deliver CPD to other staff members
Licence scope: Single named user for direct 1:1 or small-group practice only.
3.3 Team Membership — Multi-User Licence
Who this is for: Teams, services, and organisations requiring access for multiple staff members.
Permitted use:
- access to all Portal resources across the whole named team, service, or organisation
- internal sharing of resources among staff members
- use of resources with pupils, service users, or residents as appropriate to the setting
Not permitted:
- sharing login credentials with individuals outside the named organisation
- transferring or distributing resources to external parties
- reselling or commercially exploiting any Portal materials
- rotating or cycling staff accounts throughout the year in order to train more staff than the purchased licence covers — if additional staff require access, further licences must be purchased
Licence scope: Multi-user access for all staff within the named team, service, or organisation only.
- Account Access and Monitoring
Each membership is granted to a named individual or named organisation and may only be used in accordance with the licence purchased.
Sharing login credentials or downloaded materials beyond the licensed user or organisation is a breach of this policy and may result in enforcement action.
For Team Memberships, accounts must reflect genuine, active staff users. Adding and removing accounts repeatedly in order to provide access to a greater number of staff than the licence covers is not permitted.
We reserve the right to monitor usage — including login activity, download history, and account changes — to ensure compliance with this policy. Where misuse is identified, we may apply additional charges equivalent to the correct licence value, and suspend or terminate access without refund.
- Upgrading Your Licence
If your intended use changes — for example, if a professional has been using a Family Membership — you must upgrade to the correct licence immediately. Professionals may not use a Family Membership for work purposes under any circumstances.
Please contact us to arrange an upgrade. Retrospective misuse may result in additional charges or enforcement action.
- Guest and Contributor Content
Some content within the Portal is created and delivered by guest speakers, partner organisations, or independent contributors. In such cases, copyright remains with the original author and is made available through the Portal under licence. The same restrictions on copying, sharing, and redistribution apply to this content as to all other Portal materials.
- Governing Law
This policy is governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this policy or your use of the Portal are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
