Welcome to Reducing Anxiety in Children Webinar
In 2023, approximately 1 in 5 children and young people between the ages of 8 and 25 were estimated to have a probable mental disorder. We need a toolkit of approaches to help them. In this training we explore the A-B-C method to help the child to understand their emotional states, balance them, and look at change through conscious awareness.
In this training, we will explore common types of anxiety, how it presents in the physiology of the child, and how we can help the child to reduce it.
It will follow an A-B-C Method:
- Awareness of Emotional States
- Balance of States
- Change through Conscious Awareness
We will review some easy to implement strategies, alongside some more focused activities.
