Enhance Your Skills with Lego-based Therapy Training

Lego-based Therapy is a dynamic, play-based intervention that leverages the creativity and engagement of Lego building to support children with social communication challenges. Developed initially for autistic children, it focuses on enhancing collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills through structured group play.

During a typical session, children assume specific roles—such as builder, supplier, or architect—fostering teamwork and turn-taking. As they work together to build models, children practice essential social skills like taking turns, active listening, and problem-solving, all within a fun and motivating context.

Our Lego-based Therapy Training offers a comprehensive approach to implementing this innovative intervention. By participating in this training, educators and therapists will learn how to effectively use Lego-based activities to strengthen social competencies. Moreover, this training boosts confidence and fosters meaningful peer interactions, making it both effective and enjoyable for children.

By integrating Lego-based Therapy into your practice, you will not only enhance your skills but also provide children with a powerful tool to develop their social and emotional abilities. Join our Lego-based Therapy Training and unlock the potential of play to transform lives.

Will this Training Integrate SEMH?

Yes, all our training specialises in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health profiles. This highly regarded live webinar not only delves into the theory behind Lego Therapy but also provides case study examples of how it can be adapted for small group and 1:1 sessions for students who may struggle in larger groups.

We are also passionate about ensuring that all our interventions are neurodivergent-affirming, considering the holistic needs of the whole child, including attachment, sensory processing, emotional regulation, social connection, and self-awareness.

Attendees will not only leave with the confidence to understand the theory and how to adapt it based on their cohort, but also have all the resources needed to implement it immediately.

Running a Lego-Based Therapy Intervention training was excellent. So much great advice and the ability to ask questions live and receive detailed helpful answers. Brilliant for practitioners starting out and wondering where to begin – lots of links to support resources as well. Highly recommended! Ailsa Boot

Tracy is incredibly passionate about her work and this showed through the live Lego Therapy intervention training and help and support both before and after the live session.
