This assessment tool provides you will an initial overview of a child’s social skill needs, a starting point to identify which of the areas should be support first. It could be used as a benchmark in a social skills intervention, or to look at provision.
The areas include:
- Active listening
- Effective Communication
- Empathy (this links effectively with our Growth Mindset Pack)
- Emotional Intelligence
- Non-verbal Cues
- Conflict Resolution (this links effectively with our Restore, Repair, Prevent Pack)
