Description

Welcome to Art as Therapy Intervention Hub

Art-based therapeutic interventions provide a powerful and creative platform for professionals to support children struggling with emotional overwhelm. This training is designed specifically for professionals seeking innovative ways to address the emotional needs of children and offers a comprehensive framework for developing a 6-week program.

Not all children are comfortable or able to articulate their emotions verbally, but art provides a unique avenue for expression. Through various art forms and mediums, children can tap into their inner world and communicate their feelings in a non-verbal and symbolic way. Art becomes their voice, enabling them to convey complex emotions that may be difficult to put into words.

This wonderful hub is ideal for professionals looking to embed Art as Therapy in their setting, with access to the Art as Therapy Intervention Hub over an agreed period of time – such as 1 month or over a term.

This gives settings an opportunity to assess, plan, and embed the interventions across the whole setting – with all staff members trained at one time. It includes step-by-step training on how to run both interventions and a huge bank of resources to put it into place.

This option includes access to:

Plus:

Total CPD Hours (includes CPD Certificates)

  • Art as Therapy Intervention: 1hr 4mins
  • Comic Strip Interventions: 1hr 47 mins
  • Emotional Regulation Strategies: 3 hrs + (great to dip into and upskill)

Cost

The cost is based on how many staff members will be accessing the Hub and how many settings will require a school licence.  For further information, please contact us.

I always enjoy zoom sessions with Tracy and her guest speakers; they're always informative without being preachy and are completely non-judgemental. She has such insight and empathy as to the needs of the children - and adults - that we're trying to help and a huge part of this is questioning what 'help' is needed in the first place, and how this can be delivered in a meaningful and non-damaging way.

Running a Lego-Based Therapy Intervention training was excellent. So much great advice and the ability to ask questions live and receive detailed helpful answers. Brilliant for practitioners starting out and wondering where to begin - lots of links to support resources as well. Highly recommended!

Tracy is incredibly passionate about her work and this showed through the live Lego Therapy intervention training and help and support both before and after the live session. I found the intervention training really useful and can apply it straight to my setting. I won't hesitate to do further training with her.

I felt the training was a good intro to Lego Therapy. I would have liked more examples of what an actual session would look like.
