Professional Supervision

Welcome to our Professional Supervision Service

We offer professional consultations and mentoring sessions to address the needs of children or groups struggling with emotional dysregulation, utilising our effective trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming approaches.

Examples of this may include a student who exhibits frequent outbursts in the classroom, emotionally-based school avoidance, and/or demand avoidance. These sessions are also ideal for professionals working on outreach with clients who need to explore how their existing provision can be adapted for neurodivergent children and young people.

In our session, we would explore the whole child, looking at potential triggers from attachment to sensory needs, emotional regulation strategies, social communication, and sense of self.

We then discuss a support plan, which might include strategies like implementing a consistent daily schedule, sensory circuits, attachment-focused activities, and Vagus nerve exercises. The session would recommend further knowledge or specialist interventions to ensure the right provision is offered at the right time.

Our goal is to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the needs of all children, especially those for whom other approaches have not worked.

The great thing about this service is that you have all the tools you need in this Portal. Each session will leave you empowered with a toolkit of ideas, resources, and additional knowledge if needed.
