About the Trainer:
Tracy is a passionate, focused, and determined SEMH Educational Consultant, Coach, and Trainer – with nearly two decades of experience in supporting children, families, and professionals!
She works with children who are unable to talk about their emotional needs – either because they don’t want to, or because they don’t have the skills (yet) to understand them. She is very experienced in working with neuro-diverse clients – who are unable to name emotions, but are overwhelmed by them.
She applies a body-to-mind approach (polyvagal theory) to help the client let go of trapped negative emotions and regulate their internal nervous system back down to calm. She is a trained practitioner in Wingwave Coaching (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), the Bounce Approach (Polyvagal Theory), and Neutral Space Relaxation (Bodywork Relaxation). Using these techniques and approaches in many of her sessions.
Note: This training does not replace medical advice. This is focused on prevention.
