Exploring Emotions through Art Workshop

This workshop is a hands-on practical look at how we, as parent/carers or professionals, can support the emotional needs of children through art. We will look at clay-work/play-doh, drawing, painting, and collage work.
Who is this event for :
- Anyone who would like to know how to help a child understand and regulate their emotions using different forms of art
- Why is art such a powerful form of expression?
- How can we support children through different art mediums, to explore their emotions?
You will need:
If you want to explore how to support a child’s needs through art – you need to bring some things with you on the night! So, have with you a small selection of:
- Play-Doh or Clay
- Coloured Pencils
- Collage materials
How the training will be run:
The training will be held live, via Zoom. This training will be recorded and available to watch again over a 7 day period.
