PROVISION OBJECTIVES: 

  • To equip the child with alternative, positive methods to seek attention.
  • To provide tools and resources to assist the child in managing emotions and expressing needs without resorting to disruptive behaviour.
  • To teach effective ways to communicate feelings and needs to adults in a constructive and non-disruptive manner.
  • To create a supportive environment where the child feels acknowledged and understood, reducing the need for disruptive behaviour as a means of gaining attention.
